Islamic Studies

Abu Lut casually studied the Din from the age of fifteen until eighteen, then began serious structured study and is currently pursuing Islamic studies through multiple institutions.

He benefited from the companionship of a student of shaykh 'AbdAllah al-'Azzam and a student of shaykh 'Umar 'Abd al-Rahman, from whom he also took tajwid.

Abu Lut al-Muhammadi has studied with the Tayba Foundation, California Islamic University, Ibn 'Abd al-Barr Academy, Critical Loyalty University, Madrasah al-Ansar Online, al-Madrasah al-Hanbaliyyah, and ITQAN for 'Ulum al-Qur'an.

Through shaykh 'Uthman Khan at Critical Loyalty, he pursued ijazah in the six books of Sunnah, a diploma of classical medicine and holistic health, and advanced study in the ten qira'at.

He also enrolled in a three-year program under shaykh al-Hasan b. 'Ali al-Kettani at Ibn 'AbdilBarr Academy focused on Athari 'aqidah, Maliki fiqh, and tazkiyyah al-nafs.

He intends to continue in both Ash'ari and Athari 'aqidah, the Maliki school, tazkiyya, tafsir, and the other sciences of the Din while continuing Qur'an memorization and Arabic development.

He currently holds ten ijazat and three certificates in Qur'an and completed twenty-one non-ijazah or certificate courses at the time of that summary.
