**بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم**

I will try to conform to the format above, I but I have actually built out a page on my website which is very in-depth! If what I write here seems interesting, I can link you to the marriage page of my site - bithnillah. I am a mature and practicing young man with sky-high ambitions. Extremely motivated and hard-working. Funny, affable, amicable, easy to get along with, perceptive. Seeking religious young woman to help get into Janna.

**Age and Gender**

23 - M. 5'10.5'' (very important .5 there)

East coast, US. Depends.

**Marital Status - Single/Divorced/Children**

Never been in a relationship.

**Ideal marriage timeline**

Flexible.

**Age Range that you would want/require in a prospect**

18-33

**Five important characteristics you look for in a prospect**

I do not intend to either be overly picky nor understate the importance of marrying a compatible spouse. I do not have a “perfect wife” in mind. However, I do have certain bare-minimum criteria in a number of areas which I hope that one person can fill. For me, the major things are:

Level of religiosity

Ideological compatibility

Physical attraction

Personality compatibility

Similar future goals

Familial compatibility

I am not requiring that my future spouse is a waliyyah of Allah or a religious scholar. Those things are certainly huge bonuses. However, I am seeking more than anything a wife who is sincere. Sincerity means a willingness to learn and implement that knowledge to the best of one’s ability. Therefore, just because a sister is not now very “practicing” does not mean that she is automatically disqualified. However, if she is unwilling to become significantly more practicing, then she would be.

I have to be reasonably attracted to my spouse while she is in her standard appearance and I want a spouse who is reasonably attracted to me as well. I am not interested in marrying a woman that I do not find attractive, or even a woman I find attractive who is not attracted to me. It is important in this society to have a genuine physical attraction due to the intense level of fitnah.

Through proctored meetings with your wali, we can determine whether or not our personalities are compatible. However, I would also like to request a personality test. Additionally, marriages are often more so a product of mutual work and similar worldviews than some magical chemical formula.

My mom has to like you and your father/wali has to like me. It is that simple. My mom holds a very special place in my life and I take her feelings very seriously. Your father is your wali and you cannot get married without his permission. Overall, the rest of in-law issues can be figured out and dealt with diplomacy for the most part.

**State/specify your level of religiosity**

My 'Aqida is: Athari Ithbati. The theological school of Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i, exemplified by accepting the texts without ijtihad or ta'wil .

I believes that the Salaf had two schools in ‘Aqidah: ijtihadi and ithbati. The mujtahid Athariyyun believed in the applicability of ijtihad to ‘Aqidah issues, such as Abu Hanifa and imam Ahmad, during the later part of his career. This school is championed by ibn Taymiyya.

I follows the madh’hab of the a’imma Malik and al-Shafi’i in this regard, though I study the works of all ‘Aqidah schools.

Their school was to allow the ambiguous texts to pass by without comment, believing in them fully, but not making ijtihad nor ta’wil regarding them.

Allah knows best.

My School of Fiqh is: Maliki. I perform ittiba'a of the legal school of Madina, ultimately following the Wahi.

I am currently studying the Maliki school, however I have also studied some Hanbali works to a lesser degree. I believe that the layman should follow one madh’hab in order to have a firm grasp of all of their obligations. However, I do not believe that it is obligatory to only follow the mash’hur positions of one of the four schools. Ultimately, the madha’hib are just a means by which we can understand the Sunna in an authentic fashion – but our goal is the Qur’an and Sunna.

My School of Tazkiyya is Junaydi. The sober spiritual school, as contrasted with the "drunk".

I accept the principles of Tasawuff as exemplified by the early schools of Sufism and authentically passed down to us, free of bidd’ah or shirk. I respect the early ‘ulama such as al-Harith al-Muhasibi, al-Junayd al-Baghdadi, and Hasan al-Basri. In particular, I find critically reading the works of Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, alongside the likes of ibn Taymiyya and ibn al-Qayyim to be instructuve.

My Manhaj is Muhammadi. I attempt to follow Islam as taught by the Prophet Muhammad.

I ascribe myself directly to the Messenger of Allah such that he can direct me to Allah. I eschew the term “Salafi” as it has been hijacked by people whom routinely contradict the true methodology of the Salaf. I accept the wide range of difference of opinion in Islamic thought, so long as it is clearly based on a sincere attempt to understand the Din through the lens of the first three generations. I focus especially on the topic of “Mu’amalat”, such as: allegiance, disavowal, enjoining the good, forbidding the evil, and emigration.
