I have the data, I just did not want to go through the hassle of having to wipe the partition and reinstall Windows on it. I'm going to try a Windows USB again to see if that will work, otherwise I will just reformat the drive and reinstall Windows.

Windows 10 has repeatedly wiped restore points and broken when installing new updates, it's been a mess for me.

Finally someone who understands! It seems like Windows updates are constantly getting pushed out and wrecking something. There is no reason to use it as the main OS anymore, honestly. Partition your drive and install something else on there, because there's a good likelihood Windows will screw up again.

This is the second time in three months I have had to wipe the drive due to Windows errors. It always destroys any restore points or backups I have on the drive, and no matter what I do I can't get back in. Total garbage.

I'm thinking to just reformat that particular partition using a live USB or something, then re-install Windows solely on that partition. I will post again on how it goes later today, just for posterity.

Going to switch to another form of backups, like Macrium. I think I'm done playing around with Windows, as this isn't the first time I've had to wipe it and reinstall.

I set everything back down to default and just have this horrible gargling sound. I can reduce it with Nahimic by playing with the settings but then I can only hear myself if I put my lips right to the microphones.

It isn't your fault that, in the first time in American history, the US government decided to openly and plainly manipulate the markets.

Any rational person would believe that the market would drop due to all of this terrible news, but somehow it is not. I honestly am starting to believe it is better to trade solely based on numbers and time-price chart trends than any other kind of information, because logic and reason seem to have no weight on the market whatsoever. It's better to just engage in technical analysis far removed from news, set stop losses, and operate that way.

The market is totally detached from ordinary forms of analysis as far as I can tell. Macroeconomic or long-term analysis simply is not working. As of right now, there is no reason not to believe the market is not targeting all-time highs. The only way to go really is to day-trade, if a personal has the psychological fortitude to handle it in such a high volatility environment.

We even had a double top on the SPY chart that it just chose to ignore and raised up higher. Truly unprecedented times. Part of the issue may be algorithms that were trained primarily in one of the longest bull markets in history. They literally may not know how to function in a bear market. We have just witnessed the shortest bear market in history and entered a new bull market.
