I was offered a helpdesk job last year when I had no certs but it seems like the job market is more difficult now?
I was still studying at that time and wanted to focus on studied, get some certs, and re-enter the job market when I was done.
So far one interview for IT Instructor (2 weeks) and a phone screen for data center technician (1 week) and have not heard anything back, despite their saying I did very well on both interviews.
Thank you for the encouragement
This does work!
That's great to hear!
My plan after getting the Cloud+ is to spend one week on each vendor's intro cert. Do you think that's realistic?
Wow that's great to hear! Did you think taking those two was worth it?
Thank you for your input, I greatly appreciate it.
I am reading the Sybex book right now and am using Udemy practice exams. I've also taken the Cloud Essentials+ so I already have a grasp of the basic concepts. We'll see how it goes!
Thanks for your input /u/canadian-sysadmin.
Wow thank you for this!
Resources like this are exactly what I made this post for. I hope other people benefit as well.

I guess this is it, I was wondering if anyone had ever seen it before. It seems automated.
