In-depth article discussing the Muslim marriage crisis
They are rejecting good options when they are young because they do not feel ready and then expect the same quality of options later in life, when most men prefer younger women. The same good options that get repeatedly rejected end up growing older and becoming even better options, then marry a younger sister - the exact opposite happens with sisters. As a sister gets to be 27-30, most great 27-30 year old brothers marry younger sisters.
The easiest way out is to have realistic standards and for sisters to be willing to marry older brothers.
Approx. Age for Husband = (Sisters age - 7) \* 2
27 year old sister: (27-7) \* 2 = 40.
How many sisters in their 20s are even willing to consider someone from 35-40?
Unfortunately you are dealing with brothers and most brothers prefer younger sisters, and literally use this calculation (half your age plus seven). Whether you agree with it or not is irrelevant, most men prefer women that are significantly younger than them.
What I am trying to communicate to you is that a huge part of the reason that sisters who are in this 25+ age range cannot find a suitable partner, despite their own often unrealistic standards, is that men who are 25 are looking for 18 year old-s and often not willing to marry someone who is older than 23.
The age group of brothers that are very interested in 27 year olds are late 30s to early 40s. That is simply the reality.
The sooner we can agree on facts as to what people are interested in in the marriage market, the sooner we can start finding solutions. If we want to keep pretending that unemployed 22 year old brothers have a chance at marrying 18 year old sisters, and that 27 year old sisters are likely to find someone the same age as them, we will keep seeing people unmarried and miserable.

You are assuming that there is no objective truth or that objective truth cannot be known, which is as much of an assumption that any religion is an objective truth. It's just a post-modernist secularist assumption, which is as much as a religious assumption as any other. Advocating for the most popular religion, secularism, right now and using its tropes does not somehow prove that forcing someone to wear hijab is wrong - even if done in the most hypothetically brutal fashion.
This is lazy philosophical and epistemological thinking.
The right to choose is proven to be a moral good how? What evidence can anyone provide that people have a right to choose or that a right to choose even results in anything praiseworthy or desirable? Deontologically or consequentially - what does the "right to choose" have to stand on?
The Qur'an came from the Creator and tells us what to do. Come up with something equivalent or better to base your morality and conclusions on, otherwise admit it's just about following desires and submitting to the popular religion of secularism.
What you just said is a religious opinion. That religion is called secularism. If you say, "There is no absolute truth" - that statement asserts something absolutely. It's a self defeating statement.
"I believe that religion should not be enforced" is a religious statement. You believe that the absence of traditional ways of life should not be enforced and rather people should choose between them privately, while in the public adhering to secularism - which is its own religion.
You are trying to enforce your secular religion on people. Stop it.
Yet the Messenger of Allah established an Islamic state and enforced clothing restrictions, so what is the point here?
You want governments to adopt your belief of enforcing secularism which is the same thing as a person wanting a government to enforce Islam. The difference is that secularism is made-up and harmful whereas Islam is true and beneficial.
So the government should not interfere with my belief that Islam has to be enforced and implemented on everyone. Great, looks like we agree.
I really don't think you understand what has happened here. Re-read the thread.

This is the most irrational and ludicrous policy ever, especially considering you guys locked me out of my mail account for almost two years for no discernible reason.
