My rating: 5 out of 5

We started with the smoked beets and tuna crudo. Both were nice but the crudo was particularly well done. First time my mom had any kind of raw fish, had to trick her into it but she loved it 😉.

We didn't enjoy the charred rapini very much. Overpowering smoky flavor. It was fine when coupled with the fish.

Garganelli was incredible. Some of the best pasta I've ever had.

We had the wood-fired fish. Crispy skin with beautifully tender, almost cream-like inside. Somehow they expertly deboned and deftly reassembled the fish.

Good sized portions. Two appetizers, two grains, one entrée, one dessert – more than enough for 2 people.

For desert we had grapefruit posset, which was just the right amount of tart and sourness with sweet.

The tea was fantastic. I am something of a tea nerd so imagine my surprise at seeing pu-erh on the menu. The most sophisticated tea menu I've seen anywhere. We had the Moonlight Litchi Blossom, which was fruity with high notes.

Waiter was very respectful, considerate, attentive, without being overbearing.

I expected a higher bill but was surprised at the end to see everything was reasonably priced. I've had worse meals for more.
