As to the prohibition of celibacy:

Then We sent following their footsteps \[i.e., traditions\] Our messengers and followed \[them\] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy **and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except \[that they did so\] seeking the approval of Allāh. But they did not observe it with due observance.** So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

\[Surah al-Hadid, Iron (57):27\]

It was narrated from Aishah that:

the Messenger of Allah said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.”

[Sunan Ibn Majah 1846]

Allah also generally orders marriage in the Qur'an. Some 'ulama allowed people without sexual desires (asexual/aromantic) not to get married, if they are truly without temptation. This is a very small subset of the population.

I agree that Muslim men should work on themselves as much as possible, but the reality is that most men need women for their personal development. That's how Allah created us. There is an onus on women to invest in a young man so that he can properly develop, become successful, and then reward her.

If young women do not want to invest in young men, most of them will fall by the wayside. That's just the reality and that is what is going on in Western society as a whole - including in the Muslim communities. The few men that have the grit to continue self-improvement despite all of that are a very small minority, and they either become bitter/do not want to marry or if they will marry it will be multiple women from back home who are traditional.

I predict that a very large number of young Muslims from this generation, possibly half or more, will end up single. That's about in-line with projections for the general kaffir society.
