My Google Maps reviews of places around Washington, DC that are not restaurants.
Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens
My rating: 5 out of 5
Always wonderful to tour the spectacular estate and gardens at Hillwood. Recently attended the Japanese Tanabata Festival. Enriching experiences with calligraphy, paper lamps, origami, and live performances.

Cinema Arts Theatres, Fairfax
My rating: 5 out of 5
Kitschy small independent theater showing arthouse, international, or limited release films. This place is clearly a labor of love. Small café with great tasting refreshments. Should definitely be supported. Not upscale or luxurious like the Alamo, but if you're really into movies this is the place to go.
Cinema Arts Theatres, 9650 Main St, Fairfax, VA 22031. View on Google Maps.

Dopamine Land
My rating: 4 out of 5
Relatively inexpensive way to decompress for an hour. Nothing particularly mind-blowing, but fun and child friendly. Good experience for a fun, interactive, date as well.

Braehead Farm, Fredericksburg
My rating: 5 out of 5
Fun and inexpensive way to spend an evening with the family. When we went, they had: blueberries, strawberries, and various kinds of raspberries. They also had several kinds of vegetables. Charming farm shop with locally sourced organic products. Playground for kids. Everything is reasonably priced.
Braehead Farm, 1130 Tyler St, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. View on Google Maps.
